IT’S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD BUT YOU CAN SEE IT FROM HERE

Dateline: Capernaum, February 11, 2018, 09:02:10--For those who climb mountains because they are there, or just to see what is on the other side, Jesse Benjo’s climb today would definitely give cause for pause.
Early this morning, Jesse Benjo climbed a local mountain with three of his followers— Simon Ben Jona, now known as Peter, and James and John, the sons of Zebedee. What started out to be a pleasant outing became an escha-tological event when clouds covered the mountainside and a vision of paranormal beings seemed to speak with Benjo.
Simon aka Peter described it, “We were just walking along, talking about the state of the world, when this cloud seemed to cover us. We looked up and saw these…well, I don’t know how to say it, they weren’t ghosts, but they weren’t normal either. Anyway, they were talking with Jesse like they knew him and said something like, ‘The end is coming.’
“Then this other voice seemed to fill my head. It said something like, ‘I’m only saying this once. My son, I love him; you need to pay better attention. Now get outta here.’
“After that the cloud just vanished and we were left with egg on our faces staring at Jesse. It felt like we should do something up there to mark the event, but Jesse says he’s not about buildings, he’s about people. Then he just walked down the mountain ahead of us.
Since we came back down the mountain. I’ve been talking with James and John, but I don’t think any of us can say more than that.”
