Toby T & Sarah Zod Wish AB for SB to Larger Audience
by Matt Hughes
Dateline: Wa-a-ay Off Broadway, DTBA: 22:23:33
The production follows the recent trial of a woman who can’t seem to keep a husband. Each brother she marries dies mysteriously, and, as she continues to benefit from each one’s life insurance policy, the youngest brother, a bumbling private detective, tumbles to a scheming, unknown, stalking lover. All is not revealed until seven brothers faithfully and fatefully leave the altar with the charming Sarah Zod who plays the dulcet, doomed diva. There is much romance here, but there is also a catalog of needlessly-graphic, horrifying deaths.
Kristy, responded to Toby T’s request for him to be the latest angel, said, “One has to question whether it is proper to take these proceedings and make it a musical. I think that the script might be more entertaining if there were more brides and less conspiracy theory death and threats of death in the show. Instead of One Bride for Seven Brothers, the angels could hold out for Five or Even Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. The world seems too focused on death and conspiracy theories today. We should work to have some happier plots and endings. That would be much more in line with what the Kingdom of Dodd enterprises is working to achieve. Somehow, we need to have a message of hope in the midst of a world of death. We need to rise up against those who focus on death and point to something more than gruesome killings, cemeteries, and grief.…I do not see that KoD will be part of this production.”
